My experience from my initial call on 1/4/22 for a service call on my heating service all the way through to completion of a completely new heating/cooling system on 1/6/22 was above and beyond every expectation of mine. The lady(ies) that answer the phone (wish I could remember their names) to Hank, Mike, Tony and Brad was nothing short of exceptional. I use Dunn without hesitation and with complete confidence that they will keep my best interest in mind as well as the company's. I moved to the Oxford, AL area a little over a year ago, I purchased a home with an A/C unit that is about a couple of decades old. I've been trying to limp it along, with the help of Dunn, until a better financial time for a complete replacement. Well, it didn't work out that way and I HAD to replace it. I'm so glad that Dunn was here to do the job and treat me right while doing it. Trevor was amazing. My husband works nights and was trying to sleep and it just happened to be my off day. Trevor was respectful of my husband and I. He explained the problem and helped me understand what was going on. We anticipated repairs were to be done later in the week, but Dunn's was amazing enough to have the parts quick and repaired my unit within 3 hours of initial diagnosis! Definitely recommend.

I had an electrical issue with my Heating and cooling system so they sent their own electrician out to investigate the problem which turned out to be a bad double pole breaker. The guy replaced it and the heating unit works fine now. I never thought the price i was charged was excessive. I see some people on here complained about being charged a few hundred dollars for a $20 part but i guess they're ignorant and don't realize the charges include service call fee, labor fee and parts pricing to cover their overhead expenses. The tech was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I will use this company again and recommend them to anyone! Thanks again Dunns!

I would not recommend getting service from this company nor would I recommend anyone ever go try to work for them. I worked for this company for about a month and from the start the other people made it a hostile environment for me to work in. I was also set up for failure from the very beginning and no one ever would put forth effort to train me properly. Couldn’t report anything to either management or the owner since the people I had to be around were basically their favorites and were essentially tenured. The things that were told about me that got me fired were lies but because of who those people were that I had to work around, it didn’t make any difference when trying to explain everything to management about how I was putting forth the effort needed. At first I was unhappy to get fired but not too long after, I noticed a tremendous improvement in my physical health because the stress made my blood pressure go up. For everyone needing to find an HVAC place to work for, go anywhere but here!!

6-21-21 update:Randy Y. came to our house to provide an estimate to remove and replace moldy ductwork. He did a thorough job evaluating our HVAC ductwork, answered my questions, and provided an estimate while on site. I appreciate his good customer service and expertise. 4-29-2021I called Dunn's late yesterday, and was scheduled for service call first thing this morning. Trevor was courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and fixed the problem within an hour. He showed documentation of problem via pictures, including one that showed where wires under house going from thermostat to unit had been chewed up by an animal. Excellent service!!!!

I contacted Dunn’s early on a Monday morning thinking I could maybe get scheduled for the next day to repair my upstairs unit. I received 5 contacts before lunch scheduling an after 1:00pm service. I received another contact with a picture of the technician and a bio of him. Within a few mins of that I got a call he was on his way. He was very professional and thorough. This company understands the concept of customer service. I will never use anyone else.

They installed a commercial unit on my building in downtown Anniston either in 2016 or 2017, I don't remember. My roof had a small leak recently where they installed it & I called them not knowing whether or not they would come & fix it. While I appreciate them coming out the same day I called I would have liked for them to at least fix my air! Took one look and saw my unit needed cleaning and wanted to charge me $919. to clean it! Really? He didn't even bother checking anything else when he seen that my air conditioner needed cleaning! I wasted $79.00 for nothing! I had another guy come out and he said while it needed cleaning it was my capacitor that needed replacing! Gave me a tip on cleaning and my husband and I did it ourselves. Cost us another $79.00 and 22.00 for the capacitor! The guy was wonderful and solved our problem right away! Wished I had gone to him instead! Never again will I go with Dunn's! All they cared about was taking my money! I think they should repay me the $79.00 I paid for them just to come out and do nothing! We were so hot! I have 2 little kids!! 😡

First of all, after talking to the office I was assured that a technician would be out the next morning. Brady M. arrived around 10 the following morning and thoroughly checked our AC. He was very professional as he performed his evaluation. He found the problem and when he left our AC was working fine. I will call Dunn’s anytime we have a heating or cooling problem.

If you want fast, friendly service then you want Dunns. If you want excellant customer service then you want dunns. I called on monday to get an estimate. Mr Dunn came out and i asked when could you have a unit put in his reply was i can have a crew her at 7 in the morning. i said ok lets do this within 30 mins he called me back and said i do you mind if i send my guys now. When the guys left monday i had a brand new unit installed and by 11pm i was sitting at 72. I can not say enough good things about this company. thank you so much.

I recently had dealings with Dunn's a/c and heating company, these are the nicest people, the technician was always on time, performed in a very professional manner, diagnosed and repaired my problem. It's refreshing to see young professionals in today's workforce. Noah responded to a home warranty service call. Noah actually took the time to find a course of action to fix our issue. Many warranty contractors arrive, collect 75.00 service fee then tell you there is no problem or the issue cant be fixed. I'll likely use Dunn's Heating and Cooling when I replace my HVAC unit. Dunn's also send you a text with the picture and name of the person they are sending to your home. Very pleased with Noah and Dunn's H & C.

I appreciate the work the men came to do on our new air conditioner. When there was no hope in getting a new air unit, not only did they say they could do it, but came out and put it in today. Posted by a good friend of mine. I ask myself, what makes a company act this way? when is it OK to not only value a customer's time and money,but to jerk them around to boot? I see other friends of mine highly recommending you guys. Seems to me you guys have some amends to make. But what do I know? Here's the original post. I edited it for some folks inevitable sensibilities. Of which professionalism and just plain common courtesy don't apply evidently... Going on four and a half hours of being "right around the corner"........ no calls, nothing from them (though we left our fair share of messages). It takes years to build up a good reputation, and moments to ruin it. Dunn's Heating and Air Conditioning has ruined their reputation with me, cost me extra money for hiring another company at weekend rates, and has cost me a day with my family in Virginia. That company can go f**k itself.

A/C went out on Saturday the 18th of June when apparently satan said I'm going to open up some vents and they were all around my house. IT WAS HOTTTTT!!!! With in an hour after talking to Mr Dunn on the phone, my A/C was humming like new. Tim was very professional and I enjoyed talking to him and hopefully made a new friend. I have had Dunn's come to my residence 2 times on different issues. I had an Air handler go out one year and the following year my condenser. I had two seperate crews. What makes that relevant is that you can have a nice, experienced tech and maybe not on the next. So for 2 seperate crews to be experienced, knowledgeable and courteous and show professionalism speaks volumes on Dunn's core values and customer service. very unprofessional first time they worked on old unit said I had heat and had to order parts lefted had no heat just cold air didn't know what he was doing! called owner next day about heat sent another person out got little heat not much said he had to talk to boss called said I needed new unit home warranty said ok but they would buy the unit and ship it after two weeks of waiting on dunns called dunns said they had to pickup unit be out next day but next day they call and can't find unit called me later said fount unit be out next day next day they get the unit out of truck and dent it putting it in place after they get it working they said they had to go do another job but would be back to finish my unit later that day to put all the sheet metal on didn't come back and as they were leaving they back into one of my 20 foot tall trees knotting it down across my drive took wife and me 3 hours to cut and clean up mess had to call next day to asked when job was going to be finish was told they still had to make sheet metal same old story after waiting all afternoon they show up late in the day with sheet metal and finish job I would not recommend them to anybody very very unprofessional

I live in Edgefield. Had a problem with our ac unit. Had another company come out who told us the ac unit needed to be replaced! And it would cost $4500!!! Got Dunn to come out as a second opinion. And they replaced a capacitor for $150 and, voila up and running great. Dunns was prompt and honest. So now we've made Dunns our go-to heating and cooling company. And they just installed a Mini split for an addition. I totally recommend Dunns Heating and Cooling. Honest and prompt. Really nice people! And must give a thumbs up to Ashley in the office. She's great! 😀

Our air went out and within 24 hours someone was at our home and ready to do what was needed to fix the situation. This was our first experience with Dunn Heating & Cooling.
